“I fucked an aneurysm party”

So I’ve been thinking a ton about the past year lately. Most of you would assume that that means I’ve been “emo” or sad, or even just in a bad mood. Such is not the case. I’ve been thinking more about celebrating life. So much “bad” has happened in the past year: My aneurysm, my grandmother passed away, I had a horrible break-up, a friend from high school passed away from an aneurysm, and I had to revisit the hospital on several occasions. Life has been tough for quite some time now, as I know it has been for a lot of you.

So it’s time to celebrate making it through it all, winning and becoming stronger people because of it.

So September 4th, the one year anniversary of my aneurysm/stroke, I am going to celebrate. i might throw a party. I might just cook my favorite meal. I might go for a hike with some friends. But either way, I declare September 4th celebrate life day.
